About the Artist
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio as the only artist in her family, Michelle's love for art has always expanded beyond her sketchbook. Growing up, Michelle embraced her creativity and used her talents to experiment with mediums such as digital media, fabrics, enamels, pastels, linoleum, charcoal, and various paints before following the path of animation.

Since attending Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Michelle's focus on design in animation has provided her with various skills such as character, environment, and prop design, as well as storyboarding, scriptwriting, motion design, and 2D animation. As an extrovert, Michelle thrives on collaboration, always eager to work with others to formulate robust ideas that communicate engaging stories and visuals.

During her time at SCAD, Michelle has partaken in many collaborative projects, such as helping on two senior capstone films during her sophomore and junior year, producing a student animated bumper, and directing her senior capstone film. Through her experiences as a director and producer, Michelle finds great joy leading and working with other talented artists. As she pursues her career in animation, Michelle strives to use her knowledge and skills to make the world a better place through positivity, creativity, and freedom of expression.
When not hovering over her drawing tablet or sketchbook, Michelle enjoys hiking out in nature, baking yummy treats with her dad, and picking fruit at rural farms!
